Jeff Robinson is a member of the Pride
My Job is to make things go smoothly so the guys can concentrate on making the music. There are two sides to mixing. The first is to make the music sound good for the thousands and thousands of fans at each show. The second is to make sure the guys are hearing what they need to hear on the stage. I enjoy the technical side of music because it is a study of how the sounds fit together.
This is a great group of musicians plus they are easy to get along with, which makes my part easier. Tom is like a second brother to me and it really is an honor that he asked me to help out. I appreciate the confidence the band has already shown in me and look forward to being a part of the group.
In the real world, I am a Manufacturing Engineer (yelp, I always like the tech stuff). When I'm not "working", I'm usually "riding" with Shelley (my best friend & wife). Sometimes she rides the V-Star with me and sometimes she rides her Virago.
My main Hobby is woodworking where I focus on scroll sawing. I enjoy most types of music, but my favorite (sorry guys) is Bluegrass. Besides the Kats, my favorite artist are Alison Krauss & Fred Eaglesmith.
Philosophy: It is only easy until you try it yourself?.........As you go through life, focus on the people who make you a better person instead of yourself.......In one way or another, it's all funny.
